Our 3 Favorite Ways to Decorate with Popcorn
Popcorn is a favorite treat year round but it's extra special during the holidays. It evokes feelings of nostalgia and reminds us of special moments spent with family and friends. Here are three of our favorite ways to decorate with popcorn and keep that feeling going long after you've finished the last piece in the bowl.
1. Popcorn Balls
Whether you pile them in a vase, stack them on a tray or hang them from the tree, holiday popcorn balls are one of our very favorite ways to decorate with popcorn. They’re fun to make, lovely to look at and so yummy to eat. Get cooking and make your own with a recipe from Pinterest or buy them at grpopcorn.com.
2. Holiday Popcorn Trees
We first got this idea from the Michelle Obama's White House holiday decor team when they used gumballs to create fun and flavorful custom Christmas trees. We subbed out the gumballs for our Christmas Crunch and Vanilla popcorns and could not love the results more.
Pro Tip: Patience and lots of hot glue are the key here.
3. Popcorn Garland
It’s a classic. We make ours in house and use it to decorate the trees in our shop and anywhere we need to add a simple touch of holiday loveliness. For a sweeter, livelier and more colorful version, try making it with our Christmas Crunch Popcorn. You can alternate red and green in one strand or color block them in groups of four or five pieces of popcorn.
